The Lace Droplet Collection takes its inspiration from intricate structures within the Irish Landscape. The satin porcelain delicately captures the detail of Irish flora, beautifully diffusing the light to create a soft warm glow within an interior. The Lace Droplet pendant is made up of eleven individually handcrafted segments, each cast in porcelain, cut and finished by hand. The Fields Collection takes its inspiration from the rural farming landscape of County Down in which our studio is nestled. The beauty of fresh morning dew on delicate blades of grass is captured in this collection through the use of pearl lustres on the contemporary porcelain forms. Each piece is completely unique with the hand cut forms and simple hand painted brush strokes of lustre.
2017 was a significant and exciting year for Belleek Pottery, celebrating 160 years of beautiful design and craftsmanship since 1857. Inspiration from forest canopies shapes this collection, as sunlight glistens through leafy branches after heavy spring showers. Cast from hand carved moulds, the simple forms are embossed with forest pattern, highlighted with delicate mother of pearl detail. As light catches the pieces one can see subtle hints of blues, greens and pinks. The simple forms and pure colour palette ensure the collection fits with both contemporary and more traditional interiors
